Bryon Colby is the Senior Vice President of Digital Commerce for Cornerstone Brands, a division of HSN, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSNI). Cornerstone’s portfolio consists of five leading home and apparel lifestyle brands that include Frontgate, Garnet Hill, Ballard Designs, Grandin Road, and Improvements. Bryon is responsible for driving the strategic vision and overseeing operations for each brand’s digital channels. As consumers continue to seek an elevated experience across all devices and touchpoints, Bryon and his team identify opportunities to build consumer engagement and drive conversion by capitalizing on the latest innovations in digital and mobile commerce.
Bryon has over twenty years of digital marketing, commerce platform, and technology experience within the retail industry. Prior to joining Cornerstone in 2011, he was the VP of Ecommerce at Marc Ecko Enterprises and the Managing Director at Fry Inc. where his client portfolio included Ann Taylor, Godiva Chocolate, Canon USA, Kraft, Nautica, and Waterford, amongst others. Over the course of his career, Bryon has been at the forefront of identifying ways to integrate technology and commerce. As the founder of the US operations for a mobile commerce start-up, he pioneered one of the first nationwide launches of SMS commerce.
Bryon earned a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He’s a member of the Board of Directors of Shop.org, the digital division of the National Retail Federation, and he actively advises several e-commerce startups. He previously served as a founding Board Member of the largest Charter School in New York City.
